This turned out to be much better than expected. Have used this for a few months now. Keep in mind it does add weight to the laptop and you will notice it. But the overall fit and finish is very very good. It gives your Mac Air a luxury look and seems to be very well made. It only adds a very small increase in size to the laptop, They did a great job where the the headphone jack and usb-c jacks are, they are easy to get to with laptop open or closed. I have had no issues with the top piece that covers the screen. The bottom piece stays on good, occasionally needs to be snapped in where the trackpad area is. But that is where a lot of contact is made when you use the laptop. Overall, this is a great product.

This cover is fabulous. I have bought covers for MacBook Airs and Pros from Vaja in the past and as always, this cover does not disappoint. It fits like a glove and looks great. Vaja is in a class by itself when it comes to leather products for tech devices. Finally, customer service is second to none and many can learn from the dedicated folks at Vaja.
The leather is beautiful. The appearance is also beautiful. There is one big issue that really bothers me. The fit is not as precise as it needs to be and it "creaks" as a result. It's very annoying. When you open the Macbook air it feels as if it's going to detach and it makes a "creaking" sound every time. The design also makes it more difficult to open the lid. I do have a point of reference since I previously used another cover with a similar design but made of plastic instead of leather on the very same MacBook Air. The fit is more precision so it does not creak and you retain that premium Macbook feel. I'm not at the point where I'll return it and ask for my money back, but if I knew what I know now I would not purchase it again.
