iPhone Duo Leather Cases

Vaja makes leather cases for the iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone, in two families: full-leather cases that stay on all the time, and detachable leather wraps on a super-slim Aramid Shell that come off when you want the phone at its thinnest. Every leather piece is handcrafted in Argentina and made to the exact dimensions of the iPhone Duo — 84.1 by 117.8 by 11.3 mm closed, 5.2 mm open — not adapted from another model. Available to pre-order now; everything ships by November 30, 2026. Payment is taken at checkout, and orders ship in the order they were placed.

Folio: Leather, Closed Around It

The Folio iPhone Duo Leather Case is the simpler full-leather case: a folio in full-grain leather sourced from Patagonia, Argentina, with a soft leather lining and a front cover that closes over the 5.4-inch outer display, held shut by a leather strap with a built-in magnet. Built-in magnets keep it compatible with Apple MagSafe chargers. €159.

Wallet: Phone, Cards, Cash

The Wallet iPhone Duo Leather Case is that same handcrafted folio with two RFID-protected card slots and a third pocket behind them for a couple of folded bills or receipts. The wallet is sewn in, so it never has to come off — not even to charge on Apple MagSafe. €189.

Leather Wrap with Aramid Shell: Two Cases in One

The Leather Folio Wrap with Aramid Shell (€159) and the Leather Wallet Wrap with Aramid Shell (€189) work in two layers. The Aramid Shell is a two-piece aramid fiber case, 1 mm at the back and 18 grams, that protects both halves of the phone and leaves the hinge free. On top of it, a handcrafted leather wrap mounts on the Shell’s MagSafe magnets and closes over the outer display with a magnetic leather strap: the Folio Wrap for protection only, or the Wallet Wrap with two RFID-lined card slots and a pocket for folded bills. Take the wrap off and you have an 18-gram case for the gym or the MagSafe charger; put it back on and the phone is in leather again.

Full Leather or Wrap with Aramid Shell?

Choose full leather if you want leather all the time and MagSafe charging without removing anything. Choose a wrap with Aramid Shell if you want a thin aramid case every day and leather only when you want it. The weights are close: 65 g for the full-leather Folio against 69 g for the Folio Wrap with Aramid Shell, and 63 g for the full-leather Wallet against 81 g for the Wallet Wrap with Aramid Shell, both with two card slots. Both wraps fit the same Shell, so you can add the other one later.

Made for a Foldable, Not Adapted to One

A foldable asks more of a case than a slab does. The leather has to sit flat against a body that is 11.3 mm thick closed and 5.2 mm open, the cover has to shut without fighting the hinge, and nothing should get in the way of the fold. That is why these are new patterns rather than resized versions of an existing case, and why a case made for the iPhone 18 Pro or the iPhone 18 Pro Max will not fit the iPhone Duo.

Craftsmanship Since 1999

Each leather piece is cut, sewn and finished by hand, one at a time. Natural grain variation means no two are identical, and the leather develops a richer patina the longer you carry it. Vaja has been dressing technology in leather since 1999, and the iPhone Duo line carries the same standard as every model before it.

iPhone Duo Leather Cases — FAQs

Can I buy a Vaja leather case for the iPhone Duo?

Yes, as a pre-order. Every iPhone Duo case — the full-leather Folio and Wallet, and the Leather Folio Wrap with Aramid Shell and Leather Wallet Wrap with Aramid Shell — ships by November 30, 2026, in the order pre-orders were placed. Payment is taken at checkout, and if anything changes we will email you before that date. Apple’s iPhone Duo itself goes on sale October 23, 2026.

Which leather cases does Vaja make for the iPhone Duo?

Four, in two families, all handcrafted in Argentina and all with a leather cover over the outer display held shut by a magnetic leather strap. Full leather: the Folio iPhone Duo Leather Case at €159, and the Wallet iPhone Duo Leather Case at €189, which adds two RFID-protected card slots and a third pocket behind them for folded bills or receipts. Detachable leather on an 18 g Aramid Shell: the Leather Folio Wrap with Aramid Shell at €159, and the Leather Wallet Wrap with Aramid Shell at €189, which adds two RFID-lined card slots and a pocket for folded bills.

What is the difference between the full-leather cases and the wraps with Aramid Shell?

The full-leather Folio and Wallet are leather all the time and charge on Apple MagSafe with the case on. The wraps come off: underneath is the Aramid Shell, a two-piece aramid fiber case that weighs 18 grams and leaves the hinge free, and the leather wrap goes on and off its MagSafe magnets in seconds. With the wrap on, the phone does not charge; with it off, the Shell charges on MagSafe.

Should I choose the Folio or the Wallet for my iPhone Duo?

Same leather, same magnetic strap closure, same screen cover. The difference is what you carry: the Folio holds nothing but your iPhone and is the slimmer of the two, while the Wallet adds RFID-protected card slots and a bill pocket — two cards and a bill pocket in both the full-leather Wallet and the Wallet Wrap. Choose the Folio if you already carry a wallet; choose the Wallet if you would rather not.

Will my iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max case fit the iPhone Duo?

No. The iPhone Duo is a foldable with a hinge and a completely different footprint — 84.1 by 117.8 by 11.3 mm closed — so cases made for the iPhone 18 Pro or the iPhone 18 Pro Max do not fit it, and iPhone Duo cases do not fit those models either.

Do Vaja iPhone Duo cases work with Apple MagSafe?

Yes. The full-leather Folio and Wallet carry built-in magnets designed for alignment and charging with Apple MagSafe chargers, so you can charge the iPhone Duo without taking it out of the case. The Aramid Shell has built-in MagSafe magnets too and charges with the leather wrap removed; with the wrap on, the phone does not charge.

What leather does Vaja use for iPhone Duo cases?

Real, full-grain leather sourced from Patagonia, Argentina. The full-leather cases are lined inside with soft leather; the wraps come in the same Floater leathers, Floater Black and Floater Indigo, over a black aramid shell. Full-grain is the top layer of the hide with the grain intact, so it keeps its natural character and develops a patina instead of flaking. Every leather piece is made and finished by hand.
