Our Leather

At Vaja, we take pride in using leather sourced from the breathtaking Patagonia region in the southernmost part of the earth. This majestic area provides us with unique hides that enable us to establish a sustainable leather value chain.
As leather is a byproduct of the food industry, it is a recycled material that can be repurposed into exquisite and durable end-products rather than discarded in landfills. Whether you prefer a traditional, buttery feel, an incredibly grained finish, or an exquisite luster that enhances over time, we offer a range of options to suit your preferences.

Outer Beauty. Inner Strength

Our classic Floater leather is characterized by its durability and high resistance to wear and tear, making it the best choice for those seeking a leather accessory that should last almost as received the first day. Its particular grained texture is a result of an age-old tanning process that takes additional time and extra-special treatment. The result is a leather that can be dyed in a wide range of colors, from pastels to primaries, giving you unprecidented choice when it comes to matching your unique style.

Only the best get better with age

As our premium Argentinian Bridge leather ages, its natural patina and luster only gets better with time due to oxidation from the air and sun as well as the natural oils present in your skin. The lighter colors like London, Camel and Orange will darken considerably over time.

A true delicacy

Our Caterina leather is perfect for those who are looking for the softest premium leather available as it needs to be handled with love and care. Some of its most attractive features are its buttery feel as well as its captivating, distinct leathery aroma. Many of our most delicate products, as the Matelasse, Crystal and Stripes models, are made with this leather.

DEVELOPS NATURAL PATINA

Develops natural patina

With unique characteristics, Pull-Up leather is finished with a combination of waxes and oils so when the leather is stretched or pulled, the color becomes lighter in the pulled-up areas. Hence, the name “pull-up” refers to this change in color that develops a rich patina or shine over time. Marks, scratches, and signs of wear should not be considered as a flaw and will not be considered for returns. At Vaja, we believe that these attributes and leather marks add character and uniqueness to the leather's inherent and natural beauty.

SATIN TONES

Smooth and uniform

Ken leather comes from the Pull-Up family because it is finished with a combination of waxes so when the leather is stretched, the color becomes lighter in the pulled-up areas. The difference is that Ken leather is smoother and preserves dark and uniform tones. Marks, scratches, and signs of wear should not be considered a flaw and will not be considered for returns. At Vaja, we believe that these attributes and leather marks add character and uniqueness to the leather's inherent and natural beauty. Available in Toffee, Night and Carbon tones.
