Because the wallet is sewn into the case rather than magnetically attached, the Buckler Wallet charges on Apple MagSafe with your cards still inside. Nothing to unclip, nothing to reattach: built-in N52 rare-earth magnets align the case on the charger with the wallet full, and the steel corner shields sit away from the magnetic area.
Underneath the leather, the Tri-Layer Core handles everyday impact: full-grain Patagonia leather on the outside, a Tritan Copolyester backbone that disperses the hit, and a soft Caterina leather lining against your iPhone. Buckler adds the Bonded Layer on top of that structure, plus a hard-anodized aluminum ring around the camera system. Closed, the leather front cover protects the display against scratches and contact, and a magnetic closure holds it shut.

Charging: the built-in wallet charges on MagSafe with the cards inside, while the Wallet Wrap has to be removed to charge. Buckler adds the Bonded Layer over that structure for a stiffer, stronger shell, and a hard-anodized aluminum ring around the camera system. The four 316 stainless steel corner shields handle the case leather cannot: a phone landing on a corner concentrates the whole force of the drop into a few millimetres, and the shields are designed to deflect and redirect that energy into the body of the case. 316 is the marine-grade alloy, chosen because it resists corrosion from skin contact and humidity over years of handling.
